From today Google It can already breathe more quiet. After more than one week of deliberations on the alleged violation of patents from Oracle a few minutes ago the jury has made public its verdict: Google has not infringed patents of Oracle developing for Android.
With this statement is terminated to a longer process and that more damage could be done to the ecosystem of Android, but fortunately has not happened, nothing has helped Oracle sued Google for almost two years, they have not given the reason. Neither Android nor their Dalvik virtual machine infringed its patents.
This statement collides head-on with the verdict of a couple of weeks, in which they declared to Google guilty of violating the rights of author of the Java APIs, but it seems that that sentence by Google should not compensate Oracle.
