In the fourth quarter 2012 LG into space reached number 3 in the statistics of the global smartphone sales.
LG has for some time been away from top 5 lists of global sales of smartphones, but now there are starting to be done.
According to figures from Strategy Analytics in the fourth quarter of 2012, LG managed to become the third largest manufacturer in terms of market share.
The number one and two respectively Apple and Samsung. These two currently sits at around 70 percent of the market.
LG has announced that they plan to sell at least 40 million smartphones this year, which is a gain of over 50 percent from 2012. Here sold the Seoul-based electronics company 26.3 million units.
Analysis companies are not always agree on how the market should be read. Thus, a second analysis previously touted Samsung as the winner of the Q4 2012 and with Huawei in third place. Here was the LG than not on top five.
