Instagram 4.0 for Android Only Offers Video Recording Devices with Jelly Bean

Today Instagram It has begun to be updated progressively to the version 4.0 to offer video recording, but this new functionality is not available for all Android devices compatible with the application.

The Instagram video recording currently it is only available for devices with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) or higher. Previous versions of Android only can play the videos that users upload to the social photo network and videos.

Instagram It is working to offer video recording as soon as possible on most Android devices. The upgrade to the new version 4.0 will arrive during the next few days to all users, if we don’t want to wait can download the APK file and call it manually.

This new feature of Instagram allows us to record videos of up to 15 seconds, either intervals or pull, and we can apply any of their 13 filters and select the frame that you want to cover for the video. If we recorded by intervals we can eliminate one one recent intervals if I didn’t like us.

Instagram announced Cinema function to stabilize the videos, but it seems that it is currently not available on Android. Our colleagues from Engadget have done a comparative chart of Vine and Instagram Video.
